Do you do consultations?
Consultations are $50 and done in White Rock. Once the Dastaar is prepped and ready as per instructions below, drop us a text or email and we can schedule a consultation. Keep in mind a consultation is not mandatory as we'll size up your turban and get it all perfect the morning of the wedding, all in about 30 minutes.
What length turban do I need to buy?
We recommend that you buy a 6.5 metre turban. This length is most likely too long but we will size it down according to your body type.
What material of cloth should I buy for my turban?
We recommend a material called "full veil" or "full vail". It's available at most Panjabi cloth stores and is ideal for turban tying as it is a very light and soft material.
Do I need to do anything to the turban to get it ready?
Yes. Step one is to get it stiched. Any panjabi tailor can take care of this for you. All you have to tell them is that you need to get your turban stitched and they will know exactly what to do. The next step is to wash the turban at least 2-3 times. Run it through your washing machine. No detergent required only fabric softener and hang to dry. This takes out the starch out of the material and ensures greater comfort when the turban is tied.
Is there anything else that I need?
Yes. You will need what is referred to as a "fifty". This is a bandana that goes underneath the turban and should match your outfit. Usually white or cream in color.

If you've already booked with me and you can't get a hold of me, don't stress, I will contact you leading up to the wedding to confirm time and address. I won't disappear on you. I'm ready to book you, what do I do?
Send us an email with the groom's name, full address and contact info. Wait patiently for us to get back to you with a booking confirmation and a PayPal link or e-transfter instructions to pay the $50 deposit required to complete the booking! Deposit is non-refundable.
